Success stories

Chen (Anna) Liu (from China, first-year Commerce student at The University of Melbourne)
Coming to Australia and being an international student is one of the best experiences of my life. I enjoyed my school life in Doncaster Secondary College and made lots of friends through joining many interesting school activities. Teachers in Doncaster Secondary College helped me to achieve my best possible academic results (ATAR score of 98.15). I learned to be assertive and independent and now I am also a part-time manager of a small company.

Yuwen (Ivy) Deng (from China, a current Year 12 student at Doncaster Secondary College)
On my first day at Doncaster Secondary College, I couldn’t speak and understand much English but the teachers were nice to me and they cared about me. I didn’t feel alone because the College had many activities for us and I could make friends through joining the activities. In this school, I could choose the subjects that I like and am good at. When I have problems with my studies, the teachers always help me. I really enjoy my time at this school.
