A Thinking Oriented Curriculum Audit has been developed to determine the level of acceptance and implementation of the Thinking Curriculum in the Cluster schools.
The Student Attitude Survey
Problem Based Learning – a partnership with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Melbourne
A literacy audit
The Cluster has developed partnerships with the Manningham Council Energy Officer, Faye Adams (email: faye.adams@manningham.vic.gov.au) and Trish Grant of Water Watch. We will be joining with a local “Sustainablity Street” community group to investigate and monitor the water in the Ruffey Creek Catchment area. Birralee PS will look at Koonung Creek. Year 9 students from Doncaster SC will work with groups of Middle Years students from the Cluster Primary Schools. The project aims to raise water awareness in the Cluster schools and make recommendations for improved water quality and conservation practices.
This website was the collaborative effort of a group of students mentored by professional web developers, to provide information about the Doncaster Cluster.
Once the material was gathered, the website was developed initially by Josh of Year 8 at Doncaster SC. The final website design is the result of a Master Class process where a group of Year 10 and Year 8 students, worked under the tutelage of Roland, Jason and Alex from 'Boojum'. 'Boojum' can be contacted through email, ask@boojum.com.au.
